Career Development

The College of Charleston is an important resource for students and alumni throughout all stages of their careers. Whether it’s choosing an academic major or securing an internship, or networking with alumni, the Career Center and Alumni Association staffs are there to support students and alumni  as they pursue meaningful careers over a lifetime.

General Career Services

The Career Center serves all students and alumni who are looking for an internship, entry-level job or applying to graduate school. Career Center staff are available to guide students through the processes of exploring academic majors and student-employment opportunities, developing job-search strategies, and planning for graduate school or professional development. For internship and entry-level job searches, students and alumni are welcome to use Handshake, an online job board, as well as attend on-campus events such as job fairs.
