Campus Life and Activities

Life beyond the classroom is a vital part of the college experience. This fall, the College will reimagine ways for students to engage in various experiences that include fraternity and sorority life, clubs and activities, internships and field trips, and health and wellness, while keeping the community safe and healthy.

New students will receive weekly communication from departments at the College inviting them to explore opportunities for involvement and engagement.

The Division of Student Affairs Weeks of Welcome planning committee is busy planning both virtual and in-person events that meet current health and safety guidelines. There will be events, meetings, and programs for all students (new and returning) offered during the first 6-weeks of the Fall semester. As soon as the final schedule is completed it will be distributed widely to the campus community. Please continue to watch the WOW website as events become finalized:

The Office of Student Life will be working to create both in-person and virtual Involvement Fairs featuring the 200 registered student organizations currently available at the College of Charleston. The goal is to offer in-person Involvement Fairs at outside venues across campus on Saturday, September 5, 2020, in addition to 3-5 virtual fairs via the CougarConnect platform. More information will be forthcoming as these plans are finalized.
