Family & Parent Resources

We understand that you will want to connect and engage with the College while your student is at the College of Charleston. Here are some resources that should help you get the information you’ll need to be an important mentor and coach for your student. If you still have questions, please note that on each website you’ll find the contact information for the particular office staff that can help you.

CofC Parent & Family Experience

The CofC Parent & Family Experience (supported by CampusESP)** is the place for you to find information about campus resources, important dates, announcements and information that support your student’s success at the College of Charleston. You can customize this Internet-based tool to receive information that is relevant to you and your student, as well as to set the frequency with which you would like updates from the College.

Go to this URL (cofc.campusesp.com/signup) and use your email to sign up. Answer a few questions, and a wealth of information will be at your fingertips. If you don’t receive a welcome email after signing up, please check your Junk mail folder.

Information about New Student and Family Orientation will be posted using this portal, so we encourage parents and families to begin accessing the portal if you have a new student coming to the College of Charleston. You can log in at https://cofc.campusesp.com/signin.

We also hope you are currently subscribed to The College Today, which is the official news site of the College of Charleston.

**Note: This communication platform will not be used to disseminate Cougar Alerts for campus emergencies. Parents, visitors, potential students and community members who wish to be notified in case of a campus emergency, can text the word cougaralert to 333111 to automatically receive emergency notifications via text messages.

if you have any questions or need assistance, please email parents@cofc.edu. Thank you for being an active part of your student’s college life.
