Outstanding Student Awards
This award recognizes a student from each academic school for outstanding achievements at the College.
The student award is based on the following criteria.
- Embodies the attributes of a leader
- Academic achievement
- Campus and community service
- Desire to improve the College community
- Committed to increasing awareness and respect for different persons. Takes steps to enhance diversity and inclusion on campus by creating and sustaining a welcoming and accessible campus environment for faculty, staff, students, and community members.
- Must be a full-time student enrolled in 12 or more credit hours (undergraduate) or 9 credit hours (graduate)
- Undergraduate nominee must be a declared major within the school for which being nominated

- Outstanding Student of the Year for the School of Education, Health, and Human Performance
- Outstanding Student of the Year for the School of Humanities and Social Sciences
- Outstanding Student of the Year for the School of Languages, Cultures, and World Affairs
- Outstanding Student of the Year for the School of Professional Studies
- Outstanding Student of the Year for the School of Sciences and Mathematics
- Outstanding Student of the Year for the Honors College
